I will say it a million times, the six month milestone is one of my all time favorite types of sessions. It rivals the newborn session, and yet is so very different. Around six months, your baby can sit up, which adds a whole new level of interaction and pose opportunities. We break out the baskets, chairs, and bowls and hope they bring their giggles and smiles.
Alison’s family has been with me for many years. They are one of my originals. Her older sister, Hannah, came to me as a newborn baby, and now she’s growing into a big kid. It is so fun to watch her interact with her new baby sister.
But Alison isn’t so “new” anymore! At 6 months old, she is sitting up unassisted, and rolling all around. She has quite the sweet and subtle personality. Those big beautiful eyes really draw you in though, and I love her sweet smiles.
Some of my favorite photos from her session are below, and I had a hard time narrowing it down. At the very last minute, her mom selected the floral backdrop and bloomer from my collection, and I think it was a PERFECT choice! What do you think?
Milestone sessions are offered at any stage or age, but are most popular at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months old. Want to learn more about my milestone sessions? Click here!
