Hey there! I am Rachel, wife, mom of four, and ever evolving photographer. I have spent the last nine years of my life building a family and a portrait studio in Hanover, PA. While I specialize in newborn and baby photography, I also love capturing families.
When my clients post reviews, or send me feedback after a session, they often mention how the “mother in me” came out during our time together. I take great pride in being a mother; in fact, it is all I ever knew I wanted to be. Prior to having children, I worked in the high stress business world. When my oldest was born, I left that world to be home with him, and photography shortly followed.
I now have four children, Avery (10) and Olivia (7), Aiden (5), and Asher (2). I spend each day with them, soaking up their little baby moments, and enjoying this awesome journey and career. I see the world through the eyes of a mother, and I believe that gives my work a little something special.
I have been trained to safely work with the youngest of babies, and pride myself in continuing my education in, not only the art of photography, but specifically the art of working with infants. While my job is definitely fun, I also take my responsibility to your family very seriously. I will treat your children and your memories, like my own.
I hope you will take a look around and reach out to me to learn more. I look forward to working with your family in whatever milestone you are celebrating next.
three fun facts about me
I love growing our own pumpkin patch each year and filling the porch with over 100 heirloom pumpkins!
i have always wanted lots of kids. My husband is good with four though, so that is likely it for us!
Originally, I wanted to be a counselor, but I have never used that degree one day in my actual career. But you can definitely count on me to have a great listening ear!
I started my photography business in 2014, working from a tiny bedroom for the first few years. In 2017, I ventured into opening a commercial studio.
Located at 910 1/2 York Street in Hanover, PA, my studio offers a comfortable and spacious environment for my clients. From the comfy waiting area to extensive props and accessories, I have designed this space to cater to all ages of clients and guests.
While I specialize in newborn and child photography, I know that with those sweet little newborns come rambunctious siblings, tired parents, and sometimes an anxious grandparent or two. I want everyone to feel comfortable and at home, so kick off your shoes and relax!
Having a work space outside of my home, has allowed me to expand my accessories and prop selection as well. I am constantly adding new accessories for your babies and toddlers, and you are always welcome to pick through my collection while visiting.
