My very first newborn session of 2019 was with Julian.  After traveling to me from Maryland, he was a bit more interested in having a snack than having his photos taken, but once his belly was full, we were able to capture some beautiful images.  Julian’s parents asked for neutral colors, with muted blues and grays mixed in.  They also spotted one of my favorite little pants outfits (which has been worn by not one, but TWO, of Julian’s cousins when they were in to see me!), so we had to incorporate it.

It is hard to say which of these images is my favorite, but I might lean towards their family photos.  The way that Julian fits so perfectly in mom’s arms, makes my heart melt with joy.  I think sometimes we focus so much on the newborn portion of the session, that the importance of these parent photos is overlooked.  They are so important though, and so special.
